Wrinkles

Understanding wrinkles and available treatments

Crow’s feet around our eyes, creases by our lips. Nobody likes them, but we all get them. In the past, we just had to grin and bear it. Thankfully there’s a solution – with ThreeForMe’s™ laser treatments you can now refresh your skin and get a younger, glowing appearance.

What causes wrinkles?

Often, facial wrinkles are signs of a life well-lived and full of laughter. However, several different factors, many of which we can’t control, also contribute to creating facial wrinkles. These include:

These factors lead to a loss of collagen and a decreased production of natural oils in our skin, causing lines and creases. In fact, we lose 1 percent of our collagen every year once we pass the age of 30 simply by aging1.

How to get rid of wrinkles

Due to these distinct influences acting at once, scientists still haven’t clarified the precise mechanism for why these creases and lines form on our face4. This means we can’t stop wrinkles from showing up yet.

However, there is a quick and easy solution for them once they arise. ThreeForMe™ is an affordable laser treatment that removes facial wrinkles in addition to solving other skin concerns. The process targets the skin conditions associated with aging including wrinkles, sun damage and facial veins.

The first pass uses “Intense Pulsed Light” technology to provide you with more even-looking skin by treating:

The second pass uses a microbeam laser technology that pinpoints the problem wrinkle areas and gently renews your skin cells. This process stimulates new collagen and elastin production that reduces the creases, wrinkles, scars and other blemishes that imperfect our skin.

The simple 30-minute treatment solves all these common concerns at once and leaves you with brighter, more vibrant skin. The treatment causes minimal discomfort and social downtime. A course of one to three treatments is typical and provides you with the glowing skin you’ve always wanted.

FAQs

Am I a candidate?

ThreeForMe laser treatments can be safely used on most skin types and for common aging and sun-related skin conditions including wrinkles, sun spots and facial vessels. During your consultation, your physician will determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure based on a variety of personal factors.

How many treatments will I need?

A typical course of treatment involves 1-3 procedures at one-month intervals. However, everyone’s skin conditions are different so your physician will customize the treatment for optimal results on your skin. They will discuss your specific treatment plan during your consultation.

How will it feel?

During ThreeForMe treatments most people feel only minimal discomfort. During the treatment you may feel some mild cooling as the laser is guided over the treatment area along with a slight sensation similar to the snapping of a rubber band. After the treatment, you may experience some minor redness and swelling similar to a mild sunburn for a couple days.

How long does it take?

Treatments are quick and last about 30 minutes.

How long before I can resume normal activities?

Typically, you can resume regular daily activities the same day as your treatment although due to some redness and swelling you may experience a day or two of “social downtime”.

Is it safe?

ThreeForMe laser treatments are clinically proven to be safe and effective.
